About Me

My mission in life is to do for others what Tim Mackie and Bible Project have done for me.

That is, namely, they taught me how to read the Bible along its own grain and to hear it speak on its own terms. The natural result of this has been that I can’t get enough of it! Most people feel very uncomfortable when it comes to the Old Testament, and to be sure there are certainly moments where this still true for me, but I, through their work, have come to truly experience the Bible as a work of masterfully crafted literary art. The way the story as a whole, and every story within that whole, has been intentionally put together and designed to communicate eternal truths about the human condition, and to provide hope despite it, is truly wonderful, i.e. full of wonder. Though we live in tragedy, I promise it’s a comedy. To carry this message and spread the love is my life’s mission.

Practically, this is through my talents and passions of teaching, leading, marketing, and performing; all of which you can find in various creative formats on this site and socials. <— link tree thing

My Mount Rushmore

Tim has the biggest head on the Mount Rushmore of my soul XD. I find that the people I esteem most are people I’ve learned from, and nobody’s taught me as much as he has about the thing I care about most. Honestly I’m just a little mini Tim at this point lol (hope he doesn’t see this XD). He makes Mt. Rushmore.

Now, even before I discovered Tim, I was found by Gary Vaynerchuk. He was my introduction to business and marketing, but more than that, patience and accountability, among other things.

Dave Ramsey expounded on, and with a specifically biblical perspective, the business acumen Gary gave me; not to mention the money stuff. He truly is a tree of life.

Honourable Mentions

Jordan Peterson, who taught me to take on responsibility, because that’s where you find the meaning of life; and Larry Arnn, who taught me to wonder about the good and the beautiful. “Philosophers are not people who possess wisdom, necessarily,… they are people who love it, and they are given to wonder” - Larry P.
